From December 7th to 8th, the 27th China High-level Forum on Functional Linguistics and Discourse Analysis and the 3rd High-level Forum on Functional Linguistics and Chinese Studies concluded in the School of Foreign Languages in ECNU. These two forums were sponsored by committees of China Association for Comparative Studies of English and Chinese, and co-organized by School of Foreign Languages of ECNU and School of Foreign Languages of SZU (Shenzhen University). 12 experts gave keynote speeches, and over 100 teachers and students attended the events Focusing on functional interpretations of Chinese sentence patterns, these two forums were designed to demonstrate latest achievements and development prospects of relevant fields.
