The National Competition of “Understanding Contemporary China” of “Foreign Studies Society–ETIC Cup” was held in Beijing Foreign Studies University in 2023. Yang Junmin, Master of Translation, Class of 2023, and Jin Yuxin, Undergraduate of Translation, Class of 2022, of SFL won the Silver Prize in the Interpretation Competition. In the Translation Competition, Ding Hongbiao, Master of Translation, Class 2023, won the Bronze Award.

From December 9 to 10, the National Final of the 12th National Interpretation Competition (English) was held in Beijing Language and Culture University. Liu Runze, Master of Translation of Grade 2023 of the college, participated in the competition under the guidance of Ms. Yuan Rongjie and Ms. Jia Lanlan of the Department of Translation, and won the second prize of the national competition.
